Reviewer: Mare Matyas The beauty of this Cd is the mix of music styles. There is a song for every type of music from folk to country or a calypso beat. It is a great batch of stories, some humorous- but true (Kings nude) and Only for you is my 17 year olds favorite! He has likened Tom to Dave Matthews which is his most supreme compliment! My friends of all ages are really amazed he isn't being played at the least on local radio (besides the river). I think Buffalo will be very embarrassed when he is discovered. The angel song will help mend many hearts too! I believe Tom has a touch of genius when it comes to writing songs and getting his message across, the instrumentals are catchy and stay with you also. He knocked everyone dead this summer at Thursday in the square it’s too bad the local clubs didn't see everyone dancing they are missing out on a huge audience.

Reviewer: Joe In a world where music is used to feed the masses in a semi conscious state, Tom's music brings us to a state of full consciousness. At times this is soothing, at other times it may be unsettling, it but it is always honest. His views on everyday situations bring a fresh vision for reflection during both ordinary and challenging times. Angels gives us an opportunity to view grief in a broader, less narcissistic way and offers meaning for things that seem beyond making any sense. His vision of the divine in Nice Being God again takes us on a journey through the difficulty of being human and maintains some sense of a spiritual life. The questions he raises in I Want to be Ignorant, resonate through any political affiliation one may have. He identifies a basic yearning that is part of being human and living in an adult world that at times seems to offer little meaning or comfort. But listening to Tom's music will do anything but allow us to remain in a state of ignorance.

Reviewer: M. Trabold This cd appeals to all ages. I listen to it with my toddlers and we dance around the kitchen. We play it at parties with our friends. We even put it on when my parents are over. It's just good music. It isn't based on the latest trend or hype. Tom Stahl has written great lyrics that are delivered with a sincere voice. The band has a unique sound that is refreshing! Unlike many pop bands, this cd delivers from beginning to end.
